UnWokable Part 3: Blind Faith in the Arsonist
When the self-avowed savior firebombs bridges and relationships
Every wildfire season within the United States, there always seems to be at least one story about a firefighter wanting to be a hero, who goes out and starts a brush fire, hoping to be the one who puts it out and gets the media glory. Most times, this story ends in destruction of property, while other times it ends in loss of life.
This analogy rings true when discussing John Ousley, UnWokable if you will, and the relationships he deftly cultivates and then incinerates. He likely thinks he can reach higher by stacking political bodies, a bounty if you will, and standing on them. This has been no less apparent than the last few days.
I’ve had information worth reporting the past few months, but I didn’t move on it for a few reasons: Oklahoma elections and my investigation into Jacob Rosecrants, who represents HD 46, and my desire to make sure what I report is impactful, not simply insightful. I wanted more time to monitor Ousley, getting a sense on how his character impacts the messaging that many in Oklahoma clamor to consume, attaching themselves to the UnWokable brand. It is also finally putting another piece into the overall picture of Ousley, something I said I’d do in Part 2 of my reporting.
Relationships and character. That is the focus of this piece. For society at large, relationships are one of the key driving factors that we not only desire, creating a web of purpose and enjoyment, but actually need to sustain ourselves. Some relationships are beneficial, while others are toxic. Everyone has or has had both.
A subsect of those relationships are political ones, where uncommon people come together with common ideas, uniting behind a banner that seems noble and just. But beware the arsonist, who wants to play hero and needs a fire, all at your expense. As of this writing, Ousley, four days ago, proved once again he is willing to set ablaze relationships for sake of drama and a social media narrative. But let’s talk about another relationship he burned first: his former wife.
On or before September 10 of this year, Ousley posted a video to his YouTube channel. As I write, this video can’t be found on his channel (at least that I could find). He initially posted it, removed it, posted it again, only to remove a second time. The second time around, I managed to download the video for reporting purposes.
Within this video, he talks about how he made a wrong within his relationship, ultimately being the victim of a revenge porn plot. He also talked about winning a federal court case. He then pivots to point out that it was woke journalist Wendy Suares with Fox 25 out of OKC who began attacking him online, claiming his past surfaced once again in the past few days from her call to action. Wendy Suares linked a report on September 4 from 2016 about him being blackmailed by his ex-wife. This is the same day I shared my reporting with Suares. No one went and dug up his past because I had already done it. In fact, it was four months before this occurrence even happened. This was something I asked him about when I was emailing him after he blocked me on his social media accounts. One of his responses is quoted below:
If you foolishly choose to take up a provably false narrative in an effort to do harm to my wife and her career, you and those supporting you can expect to suffer the same legal and monetary repercussions as those who planted false claims and narratives to perpetuate intended harms.
At the time, I was not aware of his federal court case. His video is what opened the door to more research.
Let’s break down this statement. In many instances, Ousley has used some variation of phraseology for “provably false narrative.” In fact, the deleted video contains this statement:
Since then, my wife and I won a federal law suit that discounts much of the information you’re hearing in stories or seeing in stories about me.
I stand by my Project Red Man reporting, but clouds of doubt has been cast by Ousley. I believed it was only proper to follow up on his claims, going straight to the only verifiable source available: the federal court case documents. I’ve been accused of illegal methods before by Ousley, so I will attach all of the court documents at the end of this report. I’d hate for anyone to claim I was being selective on what I stated.
One last note. When reading the court documents, reader, you will notice that John and Jane Doe are mentioned throughout. When this case started in 2016, the court kept Ousley’s and his current wife’s names confidential. By the time the case ended in 2021, their names are listed in the records. Either the courts didn’t see fit to keep their names confidential, or Ousley’s lawyers didn’t ensure it stayed that way.
I will give a brief synopsis of the situation and the federal case. John Ousley was married to Leslie Hippensteel. Bridget Spiegel (now Ousley) was in a relationship with Saul Eisenberg. Ousley and Spiegel had an affair and made at least one sex video. Hippensteel discovered the video and gave it to Eisenberg. Ultimately, at least one video was uploaded to PornHub.com, thus the criminal investigation into Hippensteel and Eisenberg, which included blackmail, also. Ousley and Spiegel took Eisenberg to federal civil court, where they won their case on all four counts brought against Eisenberg. Ousley was awarded 10K in compensatory damage, while his current wife was awarded 5K. No punitive damages were awarded.
As I said in the beginning, my focus is not on the substance of a criminal or civil case over Ousley’s past, but a focus on relationships. Most reasonable people would agree that your closest relationship is your spouse, and if someone is willing to destroy that relationship, then how can a reasonable person trust that person to honor the relationship they have with them? The court documents of record sheds light on how Ousley has treated relationships, personally and professionally. Let’s start with all of the stipulations that both sides agreed to for the case:
Let’s look at one crucial piece of the the defense’s statement on why this civil case was even brought.
It is safe to say that Ousley never committed a crime, but he did pull the proverbial pin from a grenade and lob it into two relationships. Others picked up the grenade and threw it, causing civil and criminal damage to Ousley. As mentioned above, he also compromised his relationship with his school employer. He lost his job in the very field that he fights for as UnWokable.
When I first reported in May, I talked with a volunteer at the Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church, who confirmed that Ousley was a former employee. Because I could not get a response from anyone else, I didn’t add it to my reporting. The court records do confirm what I was told then, along with confirming that he also ruined his relationship with his church, where he was entrusted as an employee.
As I said above, I will post the records below, but I want to add one last photo to show exactly who John Doe is:
Someone can claim that this was all five years ago, or at least one, considering the length of the case. Personal relationships set ablaze. School employer relationships torched. Church relationships betrayed and incinerated. Again, I ask: What faith can you have in building a relationship with Ousley? And one last point I’ll make before moving on. Eisenberg’s lawyer stated in court documents that Ousley wanted to force Saul to work for him for the rest of Eisenberg’s life. It also mentions a financial impact to sway primary custody of a child between Bridget Ousley and Saul Eisenberg.
Eisenberg, financially ruined by the fees that were awarded by the courts on a pro bono case, filed for bankruptcy. Looking through those documents, one can see one asset listed that appears to back up the claims.
Ousley, by nature of being married to the mother of Eisenberg’s child, faced paying the very man whose relationship he ruined. Apparently, that couldn’t stand, according to the defense.
I don’t have permission to use a few people’s names for this reporting, but there are people within this state and outside of it that have shared information with me where he has accused me of being a woke lefty, even going so far to infer that I’m part of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. They have shared that when speaking to Ousley, they believed he was lying about things, having an overall feeling that he is not trustworthy. People have also shared that he has spread lies about them. Many people, seemingly every day, are being turned off by his actions and words toward people, especially if you question him and not toeing his line. Follow his social media for any amount of time, and you will see what I’m talking about. He often shrouds himself with statements that justify his own actions.
So what happened four days ago? I’m not going to go into their whole background for this report, but Ousley created a photo of screen grabs from Tim Reiland and Ron Causby, the two Loud Mouths, making it seem that one or both of them were advocating for 4th graders to be able to cuss in school. If you are not familiar with either one of them, they are two gentlemen fighting the good fight in Owasso, Oklahoma, staying true to who they are and sensible Oklahoma values. Tim Reiland has also been dominating the news cycle lately with his legal fights against the school board over his suspension from school grounds. He has successfully won a few key steps in the process with an injunction, but the fight is far from over.
What happened in the past 24 hours? Ousley decided to once again torch another relationship with Chris Elston, who is known as Billboard Chris. Chris is a Canadian father that travels the United States, talking with people over the perils of gender ideology, puberty blockers, and transition surgeries.
For this report, I’m going to leave it right there. I will be talking (maybe in a unique way) in depth very soon about the Loud Mouths and how Ousley started drama and then begged to have a podcast to discuss the issue. I’ll also be talking about Billboard Chris, where Ousley feels left out of the conversation, so he started issues that resulted with a Twitter spat. As childish as this seems, remember, people are trying to fight the good fight, and Ousley is destroying relationships, which can only hurt the common objective: protect the kids.
As promised, here is the court documents in their entirety, as available to the public. In order to read it, you will need to download it.
Semper Fidelis
Bravo sir.
